Two (2) On-Call Youth Workers Required

Snuneymuxw First Nation is seeking two (2) on-call Youth Workers to help implement and supervise recreation activities and intervention programs for the Snuneymuxw Youth Centres.  This will be under the supervision of the Education Coordinator. 

Criteria

• Currently attending school or post secondary
• Experience working with children and youth
• Ability to obtain a Criminal Record Check is mandatory
• First Aid Certificate is a requirement within the first month of employment
• Available in the late afternoons, evenings and weekends
• Ability to demonstrate being a positive role model
• Responsible and dependable

Responsibilities:

• To assist with supervision of children and activities
• Ability to provide and create programs and activities for children and youth
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication skills
