Island Storm Girls Basketball team has travelled to two tournaments this year, placing 3rd in Ucluelet and coming home with an All Star (Garaline Tom), Most Sportsmanlike Player (Brianna Wyse- Seward) and Most Sportsmanlike Team.

In Port Alberni the girls got 1st place. Gabby Jeffry and Garaline Tom were All Stars, Gabby received MVP and Celine Jeffry was Most Sportsmanlike Player.

We send out a huge thank you to all our supporters, helping with our fundraising, gym time and the use of the SFN van to transport the teams.

Congratulations to Esther Charlie who was the winner of the $500 cash prize. Stay tuned for more Fundraisers to come.

If there are any 17 and under boys who wish to play all native basketball the practice time is on Wednesdays 8pm at the Cedar Intermediate School.
