Welcome!

Welcome to the online home of the Snuneymuxw First Nation

Here you will find recent News and Blog articles keeping you up to date and informed on all things Snuneymuxw.

We are one of the largest First Nations by population in the province.  We are one of the few First Nations in BC that has a pre-confederation treaty with the Crown. These facts are key aspects of our strength and opportunity.

In addition to Media and Press coverage, you will find posts that share our vision for Governance, the dynamics of our community, the opportunities we are creating, and the initiatives our Nation is pursuing as we exercise sovereignty over our Territory, as we always have.

Our new website is continually being developed and will continue to evolve over the next three months. The website will harness the power of emerging web technologies to create a virtual space for our people to meet in – where the Snuneymuxw Mustimuxw can share with each other, dialogue with each other, and where we hope Snuneymuxw who live far away from home will have the opportunity to connect and engage with us all.
